City Council, Ward 6
Where 2024 was a turbulent year for elections, 2025 is shaping up to be much more quiet. But that does not make it less important.
Using unprecedented large donations from a couple billionaire and commercial interest lobby group mega-donors, the republican party has eroded the progressive front, by gaining both the mayoral seat as-well-as a city council seat.
In 2025 the City Council representation for Ward 6 is up for election. It is more important than ever not to see this seat fall in the hands of the 1%.
